Trump, although crass, is Transactional. Everything is about a deal. That's also the bottom line for the Chinese: win-win deals (they are actually capitalists only with a Communist symbol).

And as long as Trump isn't influenced by the Neo Cons, they will be able to make a deal. He is a businessman and the Chinese want to do business.
