if there is intelligence and it can be beneficial to humans

it matters not if it's a machine, an alien, the neighbours cat

I suggest that humans need as much help as they can get

if they fluke building a machine and it can go on and build more machines and their intelligence surpasses humans and they make sound decisions

well bring it on

because after millions of years of evolution to the modern version which is give or take about 200,000 years old -

the result are bloody disastrous

if machines can change that ------------ come on down

even now, I trust machines that we make far far far far far more than I trust human character

and most of the time ---------- the dog too
