viv some of your recent posts show how devilishly hard it is to forecast moves in the SP and assign reasons for them. indeed, assigning reasons for moves in the SP of a stock as illiquid as IME can easily be misleading.

for instance, today's 9.4% slide to 43.5c - a tad above multiyear lows - just a few days ahead of the June quarterly could suggest a weak report is coming. Just as likely, though, a holder wanted to 'git' and had to take the best price bid.

the illiquidity of IME shares usually means largish steps either way must be taken to match prices.

and what of the June quarterly, which hasn't been issued yet.

i'm taking the company at its word and expect to see decent improvements in key metrics.

the disenchanted but redoubtable @hoofa reckons we'll see more gilding of the lilly.

we can both be correct.
