I’ll take the comments from Ken Brinsden, Gerrit Fuelling and co ANY DAY of the week over your “opinion” and oversimplified generalisations.
    LMFAO

    Another swing and a miss.

That is one reason Lithium is not a commodity and cannot easily handled on a materials exchange

Lithium is fundamentally a specialty chemical, it’s not a commodity, at least not yet.

"You've got this additional hurdle arising because it's not a commodity, it's a specialty chemical,"

The Chinese spot lithium carbonate market is a small and volatile component of the global lithium pricing structure, and price signals can be extreme relative to what is happening elsewhere in the supply chain.”
the product is not a commodity but a bespoke chemical tailored to the needs of each battery manufacturer.”

lithium currently is not a fungible good. It’s not an instantly tradable commodity. It is still very much a material is made by a producer and then it is qualified and used by an end user in their particular process, whether they’re making cathode materials or whatever they’re using the lithium chemicals for.”

Lithium, since it is not a commodity, is available in different grades and for batteries, requires purity, coupled with a market dominated by a few producers, makes it difficult to estimate current pricing, let alone forecasting.”

You gotta get better at this too!
