Given the recent surge in repetitive & ranty “my way or the highway” defensive posts here lobbying for Simon Hay’s $1.15m “bonus” payment, and for blank cheque executive retirement benefits - with all sorts of long bows being drawn to link it back to the sale transaction and what is ultimately in Ganfeng’s best interests - the directors obviously forgot to recruit enough yes-men and apologists at post-AGM drinks sessions in previous years.
