Thanks for that - yeah, I received the same info in last week's issue. I didn't necessarily see it as a negative as such for ESG though.
To put others in the picture (but, of course, not to infringe copyright). The article was entitled something like 'pick the eagles or the turkeys'.
The weekly newsletter listed 21 stocks that have the following 2 characteristics;
1. Coys with low or zero earnings
combined with
2. Large market capitalisations
The relative merits of those companies were not discussed and there was a conclusion which indicated that there may be some good prospects in there but (in the opinion of the author) - not at the prices current at the time.
Interesting to note that Brockman Resources was in that list and has subsequently (as noted in the article) 'kicked' along nicely since.
