Perhaps not a narrative for a charting thread, but eventually, the fundamentals play out. Price and earnings are like two ends of a spring. Price rises on earnings expectations - the spring stretches - and then either earnings needs to catch up or the price snaps back.
The only thing that will arrest this decline is an improvement in the factors influencing earnings (or expectations thereof).
