Ansearch shareholders might be wondering if the underwriters of the internet search engine's latest capital raising will stick around.

Melbourne-based Ansearch wants to raise $7.7 million, part of which it says will help its expansion into the US. Good luck.........


...........If all goes well, Ansearch, which posted a $2.7 million loss for 2005-06, will be able to continue rewarding its board.

Despite generating a meagre $2.9 million of revenues for the year, Ansearch still managed to pay its non-executive chairman Peter Jermyn $679,256 in options.
