Why I voted no on remuneration report this year. No complaints about the job Simon did in getting this project to the starting line, far from it. He did a very good job. But I think we should have that vote in our back pocket so that another strike next year can spill the board if we don't like their direction. There is no guessing now what the BOD looks like this time next year, or what their plans are with our money. If I don't like them or their plans I want the option to turf them and install a BOD to wind the company up and distribute the assets to us.
(Not that I expect a strike this year, people will be too nice and not vote strategically for themselves).
