The 2ktpa plant is not dead.
It will be maintained.
And can be switched back on at any time.
As soon as lithium price recovers, we can produce enough to keep the lights on, by that time investment will come running to fund the 10ktpa expansion, once they know the bottom of spot price is confirmed.
EV demand is still there.
Climate change or not, city's are clogged with poison carbon monoxide, people want change, if there's an end user demand, some how the market will find a way to satisfy that want.
Panic set in yesterday, but retailers didn't stop to think, who was buying ?
