So expected date for DOE Selection Notifications is August 2024. Let's say the end of August which would about align with the four month timeline of the maturity date of the million bucks extended to us from Riverfort. Remember this is the loan that we have no intention of extending and intend "to repay the funds advanced under the facility by the maturity date." Okaay, great. Quick question. How?

The expected timeframe for award negotiations according to the DOE table is between August 2024 to January 2025. I'll take this as the period of time when they might actually handover a cheque to the sucessful IRA funding recipients of which we are all holding our breath to find out if we one of the ones who made the cut. August will be quite definitive for us it appear especially given the thinness of the ice we're standing on.

The quarterly which will probably be released next week at the 11th hour as usual, had better be a no bulls**t affair and clearly explain to shareholders where we stand and what the grand eternal plan is. Maybe a bit more detail of all these "large interested customers." I still believe we'll somehow come out the other end of this one way or another and if I didn't I would have already dumped my shares but as we haven't seen PC's face since December last year when he was spruiking the alignment of the planets, it may be high time to get in front of the cameras, put in an appearance and spell things out to simpleton investors like myself so I may be able to return to my winter hibernation.

I'm writing this from the standpoint of a retail investor, long term shareholder like a lot of us are, who feel very in the dark at the moment with recent announcements being froth and bubble at best. It's very possible however that right now, at VRC HQ in the US of A, there's much activity with contracts being signed and exchanged and bank details being confirmed with champagne corks a popping whilst drafting an ASX announcement for imminent release to the market! Unlikely perhaps but come on PC, time to throw us a decent sized bone because at this point, our main source of information seems to be Twitter.
