I’m out as of yesterday , tidy profit but still disappointed at the outcome.
interestingly as part of their social licence Rex has over the last two years heavily promoting courses for kids in all the local schools with lead ways to the mining industry and local jobs.
Allegedly Rex cancelled that this week.
Some who thiought they were in line for jobs ring up but their calls aren’t taken.
Not sure why there was the quick sell to the Indonesians, maybe they were under pressure for deadlines on the road diversion, I guess the directors get their options and a windfall.
Locally there’s a bit of negativity to the announcement, not sure FIRB knows they may get a few phone calls.
