floor plan financing is how every single vehicle dealership finances their new vehicles floor plan. Not something peculiar to MTO. Inventory is stated at cost or lowest realisable value. Selling price is higher, that's the dealerships margin. Inventory on balance sheet is not stated at the selling price. Bailment has gone up because mto has purchased dealers amd businesses over the year. Rent to directors, what about it? Its been there ever since listing, MTO doesn't play the real estate game like car dealers. Nothing to see here.
Inventory turnover, MTO inventory also includes used vehicles usually owned outright as well as parts and othe accessories. So a turnover ratio calculation will not necessarily tell us how long the bikes stay in the dealership for, but how many times the entire inventory is turned over. Cogs/ inventory for the same period.
