They are forcing it down our throats, and have been for decades. Even if it somehow doesn't cause cancer there are plenty of others things it does do. My previous doctor used to berate for using the stuff around the yard simply by looking at my liver panel so it must be doing something bad. (haven't used it for many years now though)
