where have you met them? tourist hot spots?? or otherwise
my experience is totally different - but, I don't go near tourist hot spots.
Where I go the yanks are smarter mostly, travelled, accomplished. And the ones I didn't meet like that - several years back in Asia in the boonies - they were out of America and never wanted to go back.
All of my current American friends dislike Trump with a passion and bemoan the passing of the country they knew
I don't have a huge list - but, maybe 10 couples/households who I see or catchup with on a regular basis
