(a) Ceasefire ASAP (b) Ascertain through negotiations where both sides red lines are (they may have changed due to the current state of the war) (c) Elect a credible neutral negotiations facilitator to encourage both sided to compromise towards an enduring solution. (d) Support for a negotiated settlement needed by all participants in this war whether direct or indirect
Would that work? I simply don't know but its better than ongoing senseless slaughter and economic damage even for a short time..
The current NATO/Russian standoff is similar to two neighbours with guns drawn and aimed at one another across the fence and both saying "this is self defence & not aggressive provocation"
