IMO proper negotiations to find an enduring settlement for this war will likely touch on the US' right to base its NUKES in Europe and both Russia's and the US having airborne submarine and warships armed with Nukes beyond their respective territorial waters .
I'm keenly aware that the US will maintain that its global policing with Nukes is to preserve the peace but the US (so far) is the only country to have used NUKES in anger and that alone is more likely than not to threaten others.
