Channel 7’s app was everything you needed last Olympics. All sports On Demand any time you wanted them and the presenters gave a crap about the sport slightly more than the game shows they were forced to promote under contract, unlike 9 presenters who only live for that kind of thing. The 9Now app already looks like a national embarrassment, the David Warner of TV apps. The Rugby 7s: 5-7 min highlights On Demand only for anything not featuring Oztralians and nobody’s bothered to check it for spoilers - if you wanted to watch a preliminary round game, you had to scroll past the 4 QFs, so you already knew who got through to the knockout round.
