@Sailor FNQ; Andrews's public phones would have to have been returned and his their private phones may well have been swapped multiple since since 'the accident'.
Such is my distrust of mobile phones that I store NOTHING at all on mine and still have to manually delete crap Telstra / Samsung persist in keeping. Nor do I store anything at all on 'The Cloud'.
As for how long telcos keep records and if they had such whether they'd supply them ... ???
