yes. us made a choice to use ukraine as a pawn in its geopolitical games with russia.
ordinary ukrainians never got any say in it.
they never got a say whether they wanted to keep zelensky on as a president either. even though he sucks. he promised peace, but pushed the country into war.

the number of ukrainians that would consider ceding lands to russia in order to stop the conflict has grown threefold since two years ago. consddering this trend,
in a couple of years that number will tick over 50%. but ukraine doesn't have that long. maybe another year max.
