Based on the current lithium spot price and sentiment, many early stage lithium projects are essentially worthless, Anson is at a advanced stage, so they are still going ahead with full development of the projects for the future value that the projects are expected to achieve.
You harp on about MAN, but I suspect that they will acquire something different like what is hot at the moment like gold, spend all there cash on the new acquisition, then realize that they will have to sell or give up there brine project for a pittance, highly likely that Anson will end up with the project some time in the future when MAN becomes desperate to raise some cash, maybe 2 to 3 years time.
I have seen this type of thing unfold many times over my 40 plus years of investing, the only thing that would change such a scenario playing out, is a rally in the lithium spot price, but that seems many years away, like 3 to 5 years away minimum.
