You can glorify anything and anyone in this perverse era, history will come to call "The Fall of the American Empire". Zelensky is a self-interested, ruthless killer, who has sacrificed his countrymen and women for the power, wealth, influence, status.,celebrity and notoriety being President of Ukraine gives him. This shouldn't surprise us. History is full of pipsqueaks like Zelensky who stumble into power and then become desperate to keep it. That's the price Ukraine is paying for the misfortune of having Zelensky as their President.
