So how is it going guys? . I miss posting on BAS, couple of years back a regular feature. That was fun times playing towards 20. . So how is the pump going? Someone will say - which pump? Pushing price up, or oil. I know for several months there was a pump to come from US. Oh, the saga which goes on BAS. No, I am talking about pump on SP. To push higher so options exercise? Will that happen? One never knows, so I have kept the option open and watching every day. . 3 weeks back I made a post. I got a racist comment from Mr@Samyouel. I have been posting on Hot Copper for 15 years, but very few resort to last level, racicism, desperately trying to make a point. Whatever be the situation, its unfortunate and we should not expect it. . Anyway, getting back to BAS, its a big play, isn't it. September oppies. Will we get over the line.
Reading thru the posts and looking at price action every day, I feel there are 2 big retail players, not only trying to hold the price, but to push up. But BAS is at 7.9, oppies at 12. To make into money, minimum 16 or so. Hence double from here. Can just buying by a couple do that, or we need more than that? Those two entities have big pockets and look committed. But I feel the margin is still so big, that fundamentals may come into play rather than technicals. What I mean is that they may be able to certain extent, but if its not supported by fundamentals, I feel it may not happen. I could be wrong though. . Look at STX struggling. TEG going into Perth Basin drill, many bought thinking that pre-drill price will rise and they will make some money. Instead they may do a cap rise and do a fresh 52 week low. So long gone are the days when you can win on the hype. BAS needs to deliver. Based on what has happened in last 2 years since I exited, I would say odds are not great. But miracles happen. Hoping we get the lotto this time, but we should all remember the odds. All the best.
