Hey @gj0201 .............just thinking out loud here, I'm home alone this w/e as the family have gone away for the w/e and i had some projects to do, but it's blown cold and windy so I'm stuck.

So, I've decided to catch up on some podcasts and such.

I was listening to a chat about AI and how AI was going be become like a SUPERHUMAN.........Hmmm!

And then I thought about your gemstone fossicking..........

I guess that could be like fishing, you know, you are in enclosed waters such as a river/lake/estuary, and you sit surrounded by the stillness of the water and everything around you with only your fishing line in your hand. Then you get a nibble from something, that travels up through your fishing line, through your fingers, through your hand to your brain, which in turn gives you a sense of excitement, a thrill, a feeling of joy that something is there............time to reel in the line!

A! can NEVER do that. It's not human. So for someone to say AI can be superhuman is an oxymoron statement.........

My guess is those who say it have never done anything 'superhuman' themselves, so don't know what being 'superhuman' is. They never look at the night sky, go bushwalking, diving, gemstone fossicking, fishing or any one of a thousand things AI can never do...........

AI...............over hyped, if you ask me. All it's good for is writing code, helping with research and a few things like that such as helping with white collar jobs, that probably were useless jobs in the first place.
