"Death is intimately connected to sin."

According to the Bible, sin brought death and it also says, we have all sinned.

"According to Isaiah 59, sin separates us from God, and God being spirit, concludes for us that sin is of the spirit."

Accepting, being part of untruths is sin (one meaning of sin).
No idea how you link your bolded words to the message before it?

"Death and sin are related to our spirit, not our body."

As discussed in the past, I don't feel that there are enough verses or clear ones, that suggest we have a spirit, within and effectively separate to our body.
As I've said re Gens, the formed body received the breath of life (air we breath) and became a living soul or living person. (Didn't receive a soul, they are one).

I put it to you, that to live in the spirit is to live in the way of God, His spirit and not of yourself.

Not to mention, that I'm aware of, no Bible writers say that something of us, either spirit or soul or both, goes to heaven or somewhere if we die, prior to Jesus coming.
If there was, Paul when comforting those that had lost loved ones, he would have told them.
He only speaks of a bodily resurrection of some kind, from a literal grave of a sort.

1 John 5:18 - We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
1 John 3:9 - Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. (Seed - 1 Peter 1:23).
