if the fundamentals were true and predictable why are you sitting on a big loss rather than off sailing on a yacht somewhere?

most people fundamentally misunderstand charting, they think it's some 100% guaranteed way of predicting things. What charts do you though is firstly give you a way to see what the big players in the market are doing with a stock, are they accumulating it or are they distributing it? Secondly, it allows you to find good risk reward opportunities and points where you know you are wrong so you can get out of the position without taking a big loss. If you got back through my record you'll find I've called a lot of these downtrends, they're quite obvious when you know what to look for, remember this was $1 when I said it was done.

no matter how good you are at fundamental analysis, it will do you no good if the big players are selling your stock and of course you will find out somewhere down the track, why they were selling it and why you are wrong and by then it's too late
