Institutes like the COH don’t make drugs, they make scientific discoveries. If we have someone try to replicate what bisantrene can do it will be some large pharma company.
I don’t have much concern in the short term that we will face much competition given the way the pharma industry works. Even something like the PD-1 immunotherapies attracted almost zero interest for almost 15 years until BMS showed in the clinic that they work.
