Partly correct. Look up Lane’s cutoff grade theory for guidance. Takes a while to get it but mining costs are irrelevant. The key operating cost is the mill and mill recovery. This is where dilution’s a killer. Mill costs are usually far higher than mining cost and if ya mills waste, ya gets nothin’ but more cost for no return.
