I don't attribute a heck of a lot of value to Cottee- no offence to him at all, but having him as chair dosn't enhance our chance of success on the ground.
He does, of course, have tremendous pedigree with QGC - but hasn't kicked goals in everything he's involved in and as a mate of mine who's had a bit to do with him decrees he's a "one hit wonder".
I don't follow GAS threads so am unaware of sentiment towards him there.

I care only for his ability to be involved in the process of ultimate value creation of our assets- as you suggest, I'm sure Neil is more than capable- but Cottee has executed a massive successful outcome and I'm glad he's with us in that respect.
