There's probably many efficiencies & services & products not even dreamt up yet that will be generated from the NBN.
Let the younger generation take care of it... the older generation dont have the imagination. E.g. a 20 yr old turned a simple idea into a $25 billion company in under 4-5 years with an initial outlay of $16,000. That was Facebook. That old prune Rupert Murdoch had to pay $500M+ for the dud Myspace lol, which has been well & truly smashed by Facebook... fact is the old generation cant keep up with changing technology.
There will be other things popping up... all as a result of super fast and super reliable internet. NBN is but one step. We also need to invest more $$ in the undersea cables to the USA & other places.
We need the NBN. Its that simple. I am prepared to pay more if that is the outcome.
