The appointment and holdings of Dr Gill is a huge endoresment for TRO. I'm probably more happy that a learned and successful exploration /producer company person finds this appealing.
I've always known that high grade ore exists in an almost linear North South feature in the Lachlan fold belt. 35 years ago I visited Captains Flat on many occasions, a rich old lead Zinc mine about 50 kms South of Woodlawn. While studying Geology at ANU Woodlawn was a newly discovered mine, and have visited the area many times since the mine closed. Capital mining have proved up a resource ( not very good IMO) south of Captains Flat. TRO's Lewis pond is slightly off the trend line North of Woodlawn and probably genetically similiar to the the other deposits mentioned. I did a little post grad work at a small palce called Sunny Corner which also hosted rich lead zinc. This deposit is also on the same trend line. Its common knowledge geologicaly that these are all related and links or interstitial deposits are possible inbetween. TRO have found are looking for more extensions to the existing.
The extensions are there and make TRO's market cap a joke. I've bought in recently because of the low cap. A few years ago I almost dipped in at around 50c. Hopefully new blood into the management will get to sell the story better.
