I don't buy your simple narrative. Propaganda relies on simplistic narratives even though life is NEVER simple. Why? Because it fools simple people and people who haven't the time to study the full picture.
Ohhh you scream (more to convince yourself than anybody else - you need it for yourself), Russia invaded and is stealing Ukraine's land. That's the simple story for simpletons you want us to concentrate on. Keep repeating it like a mantra to block out the rest of the facts that show that the real bastards in all this is the USA/NATO/EU/UK/Ukraine expansionist Empire.
Russia has a right to protect itself from the aggression of the USA/NATO/EU/UK/Ukraine. But it exercised that right very cautiously and very responsibly. Its has been appeasing the USA/NATO/EU/UK/Ukraine since 2008, saying dont do this, don't do this because it threatens us too much and we will have to go to war. Russia negotiated 2 agreements endorsed by the UN that involved NO taking of Ukraine's territory. But that didn't satisfy USA/NATO. Nobody dares tell US what to do and if we want to threaten you we will, like it or lump it.
That's the real story. Not your simple story for simpletons. Thats why Ukraine is losing territory and the lives and infrastructure of its people. Because it joined with the bullies to threaten its neighbor and has now discovered that the Bullies aren't strong enough to protect it and so it now pretends to be the victim. Its NOT the victim. Its the aggressor and as hard as it is I hope Russia has the strength to keep going until it makes sure that Ukraine is left with no territory on the Black Sea otherwise NATO will continue with its filthy underhanded games hoping against hope that one day it can turn the Black Sea into a NATO lake. Russia MUST remove that temptation for once and for all.
