    hey mate,

    thanks for waiting haha

so i feel like we started off both commenting about the general o+g construction situation which i found the way u called it triggering hahaha long dead was the kicker for me but that mnay come down to a difference in opinion about what exactly long dead means to us both.

listing the projects i listed with ball park time frames as examples. long dead isnt a term id used to describe the space as KGP ( karratha gas plant ) has been there since the 80s. 5 trains. 3 stick built 2 module built. so a 30 odd year gap is what id call long dead haha but again. thats just my opinion.

but going back to monos as this is a monos thread. im interested in what u mentioned about it how the drop in construction spendeing and in turn project, negatively affected their profit. have u got a list of what projects they have been involved in from the construction phase and into commissioning by any chance and also have u got a chart that displays the direct correlation between said projects
    and their profits.

i only ask cause i havent heard too much about monos being involved in the construction side. ive done zero research im just running purely off the info i get on the shop floor. i was on the prelude for hookup and commissioning with technip-Samsung and i dont rememberf monos there. they are there now with a maintenance contract

i also was at wheatstone in construction and that was bechtel and CB&I, barrow gorgon was kentz and ugl i believe not sure about pluto 1.

again i have done zero research and to be honest if i spent time doing the research instead of writing this lengthy reply i might have answers but i said id reply properly and here i am hahaha. im pot committed now.

your comment about monos profit declining with the decline of projects made my ears prick up as like i said i wasnt sure how involved they even were in the construction phases.

look forward to your reply mate. bed time in geelong.

as for the other lad who took a snippet of a post, and the snippet that was just there for comedic value really, and used it to assume my whole view on the EV space. sorry u think thats what i think hahaha i cant be f-ed replying properly. EV and renewables have a place. but so do hydrocarbons. they will support each other moving forward. thats my ACTUAL general view. the media talk down about hydrocarbons and think i possible to go without them hahahah. not while we are alive i dont think. again. just an opinion.

    night.
