Are you sure there’s still restriction on import of lanthanide Concentrate? I thought the restriction was removed.
Regardless, there is no restriction on importing MREC from Kalgoorlie plant.
TBH I don’t have much confidence in the new plan to extract thorium from the WLP residue. The Thorium will still need to be safely stored. Condisoil was the right solution.
As far as I am concerned, Kalgoorlie has future proofed tje LAMP against hostile governments. Maybe I wasn’t clear in my last post. Let me be clear. Anyone suggesting the current or future Malaysian government will shut down the entire LAMP, without cause, just because they have signed up to BRICS, is a travesty, and it is blatant down ramping. IMHO.
