I guess you haven't yet figured out that the whole point of Fortescue Future Industries is to take advantage of Government subsidies, wherever they can get them. If Andrew Forrest was serious about FMG becoming a renewables company, he'd just dedicated most of FMG's profits into investing into the one company that can actually realistically become a renewables powerhouse: Tesla.
This is just Forrest playing politician to jock for more free funds, and I think if he keeps this up it'll be the downfall of FMG. Green hydrogen is a long running joke, and may not be realistic for another 200 years.
