I emailed the company asking why they hadnt released the protest as soon as it was notified and got a response the next day by Daniel. He said that Bid protests are normal part of business when dealing with the US federal Government. He also mentioned that the FAA Software award was also protested and after preliminary hearings the competitor withdrew its protest.
