The abuse Mal Michael received from Collingwood supporters, not just a few, the whole damn area, was as bad as you'd ever hear. The youth of today couldn't possibly know how bad it was...
For those who aren't aware, Mal Michael was the full-back for Collingwood at the time but that didn't stop the racists from going to town. It looks like nothing's changed. You wouldn't take your kid to a Collingwood game back then and you'd probably think twice these days too.
When they older generation leave then there's a chance of change. Eddie getting booted didn't fix it, did it?
