Well the problem doesn’t lie in franking credits
refunds, the problem lies in the generous
tax treatment of superannuation investments.
That’s a whole different argument and one that
I would support. I have no problem with an
overhaul of the whole tax system but this
inane argument of scrapping franking credit
rebates and negative gearing without some
grown up discussion is rather frustrating.
Furthermore the ones screaming the loudest, the
politicians from Labor and Greens, are in favour
of schemes that are favourable to themselves
and the likes of the public sector.
