I’m not sure if you have spent time at Pontville or the Still and tried a flight of whiskeys where the flavours of the barrels are very real. Have you tried the Seppeltsfield barrel whiskey? It is quite a treat. Busted wine barrels is a little misleading/uninformed IMO, Seppeltsfield is a great house of wines and port and their market is solid, Lark leveraging that is smart IMO. This relationship has been informally in place for years and Lark are securing their supply chain of these scarce barrels in these crazy supply chain times. Nobody likes dilution, however we still get the opportunity to buy at these prices too if you are still a believer in the business. If you’re here for the short-term hold i can see why you’d be disappointed.
