Yeah, I remember analysing wavelets and DFTs when I was young and stupid - from memory the only marginally statistically significant predictive utility I could find was on BHP (large and liquid) and even that would be rendered futile these days with HFT and targeted manipulation. Hilarious that so many still poke at chicken livers atop Olympus...
