Nice - on the wool. I've been thinking of making myself a scarf as I just can't find anything I like in the colour I desire which is cream. It would match a long cardigan I bought and now new gloves. Haven't knitted anything in so long but surely I could manage a scarf? I really want it long and wide.

Hubby in hospital for short stay - we hope

Snow not far from us. Thought yesterday was coldest ever. Going outside a few times and have wound up with a cough. Gobbled a few vita C's and drank much orange juice.

Definitely heard a cat outside late last night @Margaret63. For months now I've thought I've heard one and thought it was the neighbour's cat only to discover it was inside. We spotted a black and white one last summer through the fence. By the time I drove down I couldn't find it. Could be a new neighbour's pet who has gone for a wander. There's a few new families about. Haven't seen any lost posters.
