That makes sense because the hedge only covers half of production.

My understanding is that at current spot levels around USD$100/t for half of production and the other half at hedge values, the bottom line is neutral. But if the spot half goes lower, then it isn't worthwhile continuing even with the hedge half.

LYN has the same MC with about 60% of CUF cash on hand and no other projects like CUF has.
