    CCO went through this with capsules. It’s almost history repeating itself.

    capsules (calm, body, sleep etc…) were listed in coles. They did the calm your Karen campaign. Sales improved but were outweighed by the expanse.

    sales fell flat when the money dried up and couldn’t pump with further marketing.

    sales flat lined and the cost to range on the shelf saw the range removed from shelf.

    that was my observation from what happened anyway. I could be wrong.

    Cco then came up with its next iteration… powder and shots.

    side note - the shots got little airtime in the quarterly? Did anybody else notice? I thought this was the next big thing.

    I also find this drive for coles at odds with previous messaging from the company to focus with online growth as it was high margin and where all the growth was coming from.

    instore retail was being reduced as it was expensive and not profitable.

    now CCO is back chasing retail
