"The combination of geological factors needed to produce a deposit like Araxa are indeed unique, which is why it took 70 years to find something similar in Luni. Finding another Luni sized deposit near us is probably similar to finding another Araxa around their location, that no-one has done in 70 years, simply because they most likely don't exist.."
Exactly, and I've said the same before. Economic niobium deposits require a unique set of geological events to form, which is why they are rare as hens teeth. The mistake some nearology punters have made is assuming that niobium is just like lithium, uranium, etc., for which you stand a chance of a decent find just by drilling in the same neighbourhood. I laugh at some of the comments in CGR and RCR forum along the lines of "when we hit niobium...". They just don't get it.
