I don't accept the "summer holidays" excuse. It wasn't summer holidays when the application got submitted last September, and it wasn't summer holidays for the first 6 months of this year. All that should have been factored in anyway when giving the 1-4 month guidance on case duration (which is clearly bollocks as you say). It implies they took two or three times as long to get to the case, and then didn't do it because its "sorry, i'm now on holiday". Absolute bollocks from the SC. Anybody else managing their work load in that manner would get the sack.
