Today, I had the honour of opening the 7th Annual SADC Industrialisation Week in Harare. I urged SADC Member States to boost investments in technology, innovation, and R&D. We must repurpose old institutions to be future-relevant and revamp our educational systems to bridge the technology gap
I also stressed the need to operationalise the SADC Regional Development Fund to provide for affordable, long-term finance. Together, we can achieve a prosperous future for our region.
