certainly as much as we might try to maintain balance by trying to keep personal opinions out of the discussion and relying heavily on historical evidence, none can ever comment on this without being accused of some degree of bias. just like in politics.

division is the worst consequence of such discussions.

imo to state that "Israel has not been the aggressor" is also highly contestable. my view of the War on Gaza is the appalling lack of concern for innocent Gazans, and for attacks on aid convoys that have even been notified to IDF and approval received. and attacks on journalists (deliberately targeted).

clearly Israel has indeed been the primary aggressor since Oct 07.
