I get that AI can often seem like a buzzword, especially in Tech, where it's sometimes used just to boost stock prices without much substance behind it. I was skeptical when DroneShield first mentioned AI too. But after seeing specific examples of how they're actually integrating AI into their products, I realised it's more than just a buzzword for them. As for the capital raise, I understand the concern about them needing more funds so soon after the last round. However for me personally, the justification for this CR was one of the very few I am content with. We can speculate on internal discussions, but it’s clear the additional $120 million is to accelerate R&D, enhance AI software, develop new products and boost SaaS revenue.

I would’ve been more skeptical about them being on track to reach the $300-500M revenue goal without the last two capital raises, which are essential for a business like Droneshield with big ambitions to grow. For now, they have enough. They’ve got the funds, and it’s time to execute and close the big deals they’ve been promoting.
