    The sad thing with the REIV, is that i know the lady who came up with their slogan - ETHICAL, EDUCATED, EXPERTISE...what a crock of sh!t. Slogan should read "UNETHTICAL, UNEDUCATED AND INEXPERIENCED."

    I live in the north western region of Melbourne ie Essendon, Niddrie, Strathmore and prices are holding firm . With little stock in Niddrie, most homes sell on the day and above the reserve. Niddrie prices are up around 45% in 12 months and still climbing.

    People wishing to upgrade to better suburbs as mentioned above that have low transient levels are still performing very well.

    East Keilor, Avondale heights, Airport west still have alot of upside. 10-13kms to cbd and buying range from 550k-750k.. This range is still cheap compared to whats going on around nearby suburbs. Its only 13 minutes drive to Etihad stadium, 12 minutes to Port Melbourne. Plenty of upside in the next 6-12 months for these suburbs.
