Flyash is a waste product from coal fired power stations, which are being phased out (before we can afford them to be but that’s a separate matter).
So flyash replaces Portland cement in the GPC by Suvo.
But we need coal fired power stations to keep operating to produce the flyash. I wonder how much there is available and how long it will last if the product is widely adopted.
The best catalyst for take up will be agencies specifying low carbon concrete in its projects.
